Numberplates
We make 5D number plates on site, these take approximately 1hour but can be longer at busy times.
Our 5D plates are built up with firstly a printed plate containing all the legal info (our name, postcode, component supplier and bs mark) then a 4D acrylic digit and a 3D gel digit on top.
The method we use - first a plate is printed with reg and all legal requirements (our name and postcode, and the component supplier details with the current British standard mark), the 3D digits are then overlaid on the completed plate. This helps prevent people altering the plate to be miss-represented, or leave you without a plate should digits be removed for whatever reason.
We do have a jig to make name plates/signs, without details on, however we cannot use a number that is registered with the DVLA, these will be produced as road legal plates only.
Documents required before a number plate is produced:
- driving licence
- utility, Council Tax or rates bill from the last 6 months
- bank or building society statement from the last 6 months
- national identity card
- passport - does not have to be issued in the UK
- police warrant card
- armed forces identity card
